Caroline Strickfaden graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from the University of Kansas and has been board certified since 2019. She has been working for University Health providing music therapy services on the inpatient Behavioral Health Acute Care unit to adults with a variety of mental and behavioral health needs and diagnoses. She is originally from the Chicagoland area and has lived in the Kansas City metro since 2014. She assisted in conducting music therapy research while studying at the University of Kansas and has broad musical experience from many groups including orchestras, jazz and marching bands, and chamber and larger wind ensembles. Caroline is inspired by music, music therapy, and seeing patients stabilize, improve their wellbeing, and feel empowered. She hopes to share her passion with her patients and community and enjoys serving on the KCMMT board.
